As mothers, we give so much of ourselves to our children and our families. It’s a 24-hour job, and although it’s the best and most important job in the world, it’s not always easy. We can sometimes lose ourselves in all of the chaos. We make the best decisions that we can at the time, hoping that they are the right ones, often wondering if we are worthy of the most precious gifts and greatest responsibilities that we have ever received. If we do well, perhaps someday our children will realize all of the love that we have poured into them. But as children, it’s easy to take everything our mothers do for us for granted. Most of us don’t fully realize all of the sacrifices that our parents make for us or understand why they might have made the decisions that they did until we become parents ourselves. Mama, I never want you to have to wonder. In my eyes, you are perfectly imperfect. You are mine. And you are so loved.
A very special thanks to Cameron Stone (Cellist, Game of Thrones), who elevated this track so beautifully.
