I’ve started a little side project of putting my own twist on some great tunes in an effort to introduce my sound to some new listeners. This first one feels like a full circle moment for me, as The Police were one of my earliest influences. I spun Regatta De Blanc and Ghost in the Machine on my record player countless times, played Synchronicity on my Sony Walkman so much that it eventually snapped, and Day on the Green (with Oingo Boingo, The Thompson Twins, The Fixx & Madness) during the Synchronicity…

Lose and find yourself in Lost, the next single from eMiLy AdaMs’ anticipated double LP. The track explores the existential crisis in a zero-gravity landscape, which feels simultaneously foreign and isolated, yet familiar and optimistic. The mid-tempo intergalactic groove drops 7.24.26.

This is poor Dan, while I make the final push to wrap up the vocals on all of my tracks. I wrote another one a couple of weeks back, which I believe is a beautiful piece of the puzzle that I didn’t even know was missing, and truly is the icing on the cake. We are producing that one now.

This is also my brain while I finalize artwork, lie awake at night fretting over the order of the tracks (I’ve got that one finally figured out), agonize over what to wear for photo shoots, prepare to update my web site and…
