I almost threw this song away. I wrote it many years ago, at a time when I was in a very vulnerable place. It sat on my hard drive for many years, and when I finally went back through my material, I saw the title and reflexively sent it to the trash bin. Fortunately, there was a rough MP3 of it waiting in ambush. As soon as I heard it, I realized what a gem it was and rescued it from its cyber fate. Oh, this song... How is it already 26 years old, and how do I still love it just as much, if not more? All of the beautiful feelings that it still gives me have been poured into my own dreamy version of this gorgeous track. I hope you will love it as much as I do. I’ve started a little side project of putting my own twist on some great tunes in an effort to introduce my sound to some new listeners. This first one feels like a full circle moment for me, as The Police were one of my earliest influences.
