John, a Sacramento resident, grew up in Rawlins Wyoming with a professional musician for a father.  He knew from an early age that he wanted to be a Drummer. John's early years playing in Mexican/country rock, big band orchestra, jazz, marching, and rock bands helped shape him as a musician. He was introduced to RUSH in junior high, which deeply inspired him and changed him forever.  Since moving to California in 1988, he has played in numerous original, cover, and tribute bands, and has also performed session work.  John has a deep love and respect for all types and genres of music.  John has always pushed, and will always continue to push himself to grow as a musician, and it shows! He is a pro and a class act. We are so lucky to have him in the band family. Welcome, John!
