Insecurities

They’re always with me, everywhere I go
In everything I do, with everyone I know
They steal my confidence and fill my head with doubt
They tie up my stomach and turn it inside out

Was it something that I did?
Was it something that I said?
Is it real what I perceive?
Or is it only in my head?
Won’t you help me
put my mind at ease?
Won’t you help me
put an end to this disease?
Won’t you help me
find a cure for these
insecurities?

They’re always testing just how much I can take
They whisper while I’m sleeping and scream when I’m awake
They’re there to haunt me every time I turn around
They love to taunt me and kick me when I’m down

Was it something that I did?
Was it something that I said?
Is it real what I perceive?
Or is it only in my head?
Won’t you help me
put my mind at ease?
Won’t you help me
put an end to this disease?
Won’t you help me
find a cure for these
insecurities?

Insecurities

I wonder what they’re thinking whenever I’m not there
I wonder what they’re saying
I wish I didn’t care
Didn't care

Was it something that I did?
Was it something that I said?
Is it real what I perceive?
Or is it only in my head?
Won’t you help me
put my mind at ease?
Won’t you help me
put an end to this disease?
Won’t you help me
find a cure for these
insecurities?

In my head
Insecurities
In my head
In my head
